Reviewed On: 5/16/2008 Pros: Fun layout. Great for shot-makers. Inexpensive greens fees.
Cons: Very difficult to walk. Sewage treatment plant nearby makes for interesting smells. Extremely slow play. The course itself deserves a higher rating than a 5, but because of management issues, I must deduct points.
Other Thoughts: Expect a round of 5 hours or more. Because it's inexpensive to play, every duffer and their hacker brother jam-pack the course. I haven't played this course in two years now because the last time I was there our round went 6+ hours. Which is a shame because it's a fun course. I can't take another round of waiting 20 minutes on every tee because Joe 42Handicap who insists he's good enough to play from the blues worm-burns his shot 20 yards every time.

Pros: Wonderful Robert Trent Jones layout. Some pretty views.
Cons: Unpleasant stench from nearby sewage plant. Not enough care in maintenance. Lots of leagues. SLoooooooooooooW play.
Other Thoughts: This course is very much a dichotomy. On one hand I love the layout and the views, while on the other I hate the fact that they don't take better care of it. I tend to be more frustrated after a round here than anything. If you can find a time where there isn't many people out here I'd do it. But otherwise expect a 5+ hour round.
